About
This blog came from curiosity about quantum computers and a need to explain complex ideas clearly. If you’d like to know who I am and why this topic matters to me — this is the place.
As a curious teenager I devoured popular-science books and dreamed of becoming a nuclear physicist. During my Technical Physics studies I first heard about quantum computers. Since then I’ve been steadily building the knowledge and skills needed to work in the quantum computing sector.
My B.Eng. helped me master the necessary topics in mathematics and quantum physics. During my M.Sc. in Technical & Computer Science Education I learned to turn physics into practical methods and tools, and I worked on implementing quantum communication protocols built around a quantum repeater.
Professionally, I develop firmware for future computing platforms. Long-term, I’d love that platform to be a quantum computer.
When I’m not coding or reading, I take my mind to the mountains. I also enjoy trying new kinds of physical activity. It reminds me that everything is hard until it becomes easy.
Qubic is a shared space for learning and exploring quantum computing, open to everyone regardless of background in physics or programming.
